Indiana Chiropractor : Dr. Jeannie Allshouse Santoro

Seeing the Benefits First Hand

After more than 20 years of experience Dr Santoro opened Santoro Chiropractic in April of 2014. Chiropractic had always been a part of Dr. Santoro’s life growing up. Her parents observed a holistic way of living and took all of their children to see a chiropractor regularly.

“We rarely ever went to a medical doctor because we were healthy – we had no reason to go,” says Dr. Santoro. “No matter what was wrong, getting adjusted always made us feel better.” Chiropractic helped them with croup, asthma, stomach problems, and her mom had recovered from a serious auto accident under chiropractic care.

“Seeing the way chiropractic benefited myself and my family, I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor by the time I was 13 years old,” says Dr. Santoro.

Quality Education, Backed by Personal Experience

Dr. Santoro completed her pre-chiropractic studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and then went straight to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

She was one of the youngest students in her class, but because she had so much personal experience with chiropractic care, she was well-versed in the philosophy already. She was excited to finally have an opportunity to learn the science and art behind it.

Some of her crowning achievements during her time at Palmer include:

  • advanced study and clinical focus in extremities adjustment
  • certification in Dr. Malley’s specific techniques
  • certification in Dr. Erhardt’s radiology post-doctoral program
  • served as the Vice President of Student Government

Bringing a Wealth of Experience to Indiana

Dr Santoro works hard to treat each patient with individual and specific chiropractic care utilizing a variety of treatment recommendations. She and the staff care about each person, desiring the best for their health and life. Dr Santoro continues to learn new ways to help the people she serves with new training and continuing educational experiences.

There is an intentional focus to be welcoming and friendly with each visit. She acknowledges the call to serve the Indiana County community in a variety of ways throughout the practice by highlighting several non-profit organizations each year and collecting donations, specific to that charity. Dr Santoro is aware of the blessing that family, friends and the chiropractic profession have been in her life and attempts to live out the challenge that “to whom much is given, much is required.”

My Family

Dr. Santoro and her husband Jeff are involved in a variety of Indiana’s community organizations including youth sports booster groups and their church. Their struggle with infertility has deepened their love and appreciation for their children Joel and Jocelyn.
